I get quite a few questions about providing programming. I also get a lot of people telling me they would just sign up with HWPO or Tia’s PRVN programming. They both won the CrossFit games so obviously that would make them great at programming. The problem here is, that they are giving you a generic program just like you get in the gym or by following CrossFit.com or many other available online products. They never give you feedback or ask you to send them videos of you lifting or working out. They also don’t follow this program themselves or give it to their main athletes who compete at a high level, as they get a more personalized plan to work on their weaknesses.
Programming needs to be individualized or at least have a coach who is willing to interact with you and give you feedback on what you are doing.
To this end, Rule13 will offer different types of programming at different prices. The cheaper versions will be generic just like other programs but will also include video feedback on all your lifts and workouts if you send them through. The most expensive will obviously be individual programming that will be solely for you as an athlete. This will include a movement screen, testing, and either personal sessions or video sessions to help you meet your goals.
Rule13 will offer these different programs provided through the app Fitr.
Gymnastics. Ideal for after you do the gym workout and want to work on your skills. ($40/month)
Weightlifting. This will be either a 3 times a week or 5 times a week pure weightlifting program to get you stronger and more efficient in your lifts ($40/month)
CrossFit/competitive, Sports specific. This is for those who wish to get better at CrossFit or improve their Strength and Conditioning for sport. The program will focus on strength and skills and daily workouts. Ideal for those who want to compete at local competitions, become better all-rounders, or become better athletes for their chosen sport. ($45/month)
Individual programming. This is the gold standard. This programming will be catered to your individual needs. This will include moment screens, correctives, sport psychology, daily feedback on videos, and if local to me personal coaching. (Contact for prices)
Gym Programming. Rule13 will provide programming for your gym. This will be tailored to the needs of your members and will include strength, gymnastics, and daily workouts. (Contact for more info)
Coach mentoring. Do you want to become a better all-round coach? Rule 13 will provide mentoring to help you develop as a coach. Mentoring will include video calls, reading materials, help with coaching movement, using movement screens, seeing faults, and correcting strategies, and lots more valuable information to develop you to your full potential.
